August Primaries

For the US Senate and US House of Representative seats, Democrats are the incumbents. Each incumbent is unchallenged, therefore there won't be a primary for Democratic Party candidates.
There will be a primary to select the Republican candidate in the general election race. Winners in Virginia primary elections are determined via plurality vote, meaning that the candidate with the highest number of votes wins even if they did not win an outright majority of votes cast.

General Election

King George County is part of Virginia’s 7th Congressional District (CD7), which spans across much of Central and Northern Virginia including all of Orange, Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Greene County, Madison County, Fredericksburg, Caroline County, King George County, Stafford County, the south-eastern half of Prince William County, and a small portion of Albemarle County.
