Midterm Elections

During these midterm elections, Virginians across the Commonwealth will be voting for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, proposed constitutional amendments, and other local offices where applicable.
There are no local county offices on the ballot for King George voters. The ballot instead will include the candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and the three (3) proposed constitutional amendments.

Early Voting Starts on September 18! Make a plan, ask friends and family about their plan, and go vote! Early voting starts on September 18 and runs through October 31. Early voting can be done at the Revercomb Building located at 10459 Courthouse Drive, Suite 102 in King George. Bring your ID! Hours for early voting (September 18 - October 31, closed on Oct 12 for federal holiday) are:

Looking for ways to volunteer or help out on Election Day? KG Dems are currently recruiting volunteers for several different opportunities:
Precinct Captain: coordinates volunteers and serves as the party’s point person at the precinct/polling place on Election Day. Precinct Captains are required to be KGDC members in good standing. Poll Greeter: interacts respectfully with people outside the polling places, talking to voters, answering questions, and providing literature and candidate information voters hopefully find relevant. Poll Greeters do not have to be a KGDC member. Poll Observer: observes voting procedures inside polling places and reports concerns through the appropriate channels without interfering. Poll Observers need to be a registered voter in the Commonwealth. |
Our District
King George County is part of Virginia’s 7th Congressional District (CD-7), which spans across much of Central and Northern Virginia including all of Orange, Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Greene County, Madison County, Fredericksburg, Caroline County, King George County, Stafford County, the south-eastern half of Prince William County, and a small portion of Albemarle County. Check your precinct.
