Volunteer Positions
Exercising your civic right and voting is not the only thing you can do on election day. Many people sign up to be election officers through their county or volunteer to be poll observers and greeters through their local political committee.
The KG Dems are currently seeking volunteers for 3 election day positions. Read more about the positions below, then take the next step and sign up!

Looking for ways to volunteer or help out on Election Day? KG Dems are currently recruiting volunteers for several different opportunities:
Precinct Captain: coordinates volunteers and serves as the party’s point person at the precinct/polling place on Election Day. Precinct Captains are required to be KGDC members in good standing. Poll Greeter: interacts respectfully with people outside the polling places, talking to voters, answering questions, and providing literature and candidate information voters hopefully find relevant. Poll Greeters do not have to be a KGDC member. Poll Observer: observes voting procedures inside polling places and reports concerns through the appropriate channels without interfering. Poll Observers need to be a registered voter in the Commonwealth. |
